F.A.Q

What inspired you to buy an RV?

I did not want to wait until retirement to travel often and actually enjoy life. I also like living amongst nature as well as enjoy city life. RV living can give me the best of both worlds.

Where do you park?

I have taken advantage of many parking options, but I am still learning new and awesome places to park. I will compose a list of places to park. In my experience I have parked at RV parks, public streets, some public parking lots,  private homes, truck stops and rest areas. Each of these places have pros and cons, which you can read about in “The Guide”

How do you park that big thing?

Parking is probably my favorite part of RV life! Parking a large RV can be very stressful for some. For those I say take your time and be sure you have more than enough space. If space is limited, then I suggest first examining any spot before you pull or back in.  Be sure to take a mental note of all structures around you. When backing in to a space, predetermine or visualize what you should see in your side mirrors. This will help you line up properly and avoiding hitting those things that may not be in your line of sight. Always Always examine the area you are pulling into!
